A native of Oregon, Cody Gotchall is a student at Linn-Benton Community College and an active volunteer with a local church and the American Red Cross. Away from his studies and service, Cody Gotchall enjoys listening to music, and one of his favorite musical artists is Bruce Springsteen.

Entering the music scene in 1973 with the release of his debut album, Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J., Bruce Springsteen has won multiple awards, including Grammys and Golden Globes. In 2016, President Obama presented Springsteen with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Known for his gift with words, especially lyrics that address social injustice issues, Springsteen recently published his autobiography, Born to Run, which bears the same name as his third LP. Springsteen dedicated seven years to writing his life history, which includes never-before-heard background stories of some of his hit songs, including Born to Run. Bruce Springsteen fans can purchase a copy of his 500-page autobiography at leading booksellers.
